But I am still slogging along.
There is a non-zero chance I get laid off in January. (We just had an all hands meeting and there were some very subtle comments that definitely seem to be laying the ground for a third year of layoffs.)
Of course, this going into the holidays, when everything is very tight anyway, and I want to try to save as much as I can – I have a dental appointment next week where I have a terrible feeling I will be presented with some 5 figure diagnosis.
